    Private trip for individuals & group, only you & your safari driver/s guide/s who will take you to some areas which will leave you breathless with wonder & excitement. A private chef who will prepare delicious meals & help you to pitching your tents.

    Accommodation is at safe Public campsite outside or inside the park where you will sleep in good Canvas tents. Bathroom facilities are shared by other campers. We will provide all camping gear tents, mattress, pillows, chairs & tables.  We advise you to bring your own sleeping bags or you can rent them here in Arusha upon arrival at reasonable price $20 each paid once for the whole trip.

    Day 1.

    Arrival in Arusha

    Distance: 50km

    Driving Time: 1 hour

    On arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport JRO meet our representative & transfer to Ilboru Safari Lodge close to Arusha city for dinner & overnight. Late our safari manager will come for special Tanzania student safari detailed briefing before leaving you to enjoy lodge’s facilities which includes big outdoor swimming pool.

    Day 2.

    Arusha – Tarangire National Park

    Distance: 139 km

    Non – game viewing time: 2 – 3 hrs.

    After breakfast at your lodge depart for Tangier National Park, the driving is along The Great Northern Highway across masai steppe & many villages all the way to the Park gate. Tarangire is the 5th largest National park in Tanzania endowed with beautiful landscapes & vegetation which include acacia woodland, fig trees, red mahogany & majestic baobab trees which dwarfing some animal species that cometh beneath it.

    Tarangire River the only permanent water source, giant baobab trees & huge elephant population are among the main features of this Park. You may also expect to spot herds of buffalo, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, warthog, baboons, monkey & the three rare species of Great Kudu, Fringed Eared Oryx & the Ash stalling. Lion, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs & leopard can also be seen in this park. For bird watcher there is the paradise with over 400 bird species both aquatic & terrestrial birds. Late afternoon drive to Migombani Public Campsite for dinner & overnight.

    Day 3.

    Full Day of Activity at Lake Manyara – Lake Eyasi

    Distance: 75 km

    Non – game viewing time: 2 – 3 hrs.

    After breakfast at your camp drive to Lake Manyara Gate & with a local guide start your hiking along Great East African Rift Valley & to Lake Manyara view point with magnificent views of Lake Manyara & its forest, pictures & some rest before return back to the gate & start your biking tour around Mto wa Mbu village & if weather permit bike towards Lake Manyara & along the Lake shore then take a canoeing trip around the lake with possibilities of seen hippos, baboons, monkeys & others including some aquatic birds. After return back to the shore & bike back to Mto wa Mbu village & drive to the campsite for hot lunch & some rest.

    After lunch & some rest start your way to Lake Eyasi for Bushmen visit. Bushmen is a small ethnic group located at Northern Tanzania resembling those Bushmen in South Africa living in hunting & gathering of eggs, root tuber & herbs pretty much the same as people who lived during the stone Age. This tribe is divided into three clans of Tindiga, Hadzabe (hunters) & Datoga who are blacksmith.

    The driving is across The Great Rift Valley & along many villages, on arrival at Lake Eyasi you will visit Datoga tribe (the Blacksmith) who are also famous in weaving & making leather clothes, bags etc. You will have short walks around their village to learn much of their live around this area. Then you will visit the blacksmith before sunset walk at the lake shore. Late afternoon drive to Bushmen Public Campsite for dinner & overnight.

    Day 4.

    Lake Eyasi – Serengeti National Park

    Distance: 132 km

    Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs.

    On this day we take you for an early morning hunting with Bushmen (Hadzabe) which will including tuition on survival skills. After you will return back to the camp for full breakfast before starting your way to Serengeti National park, the driving is along beautiful high lying farm lands of Karatu and along the Crater rim of Ngorongoro.

    You will stop at the Crater view point for some nice picture of the crater floor from the rim. Then you will drive down into the heart of the “wild Africa” Serengeti National park with its endless rolling plains. Break for picnic lunch at Naabi Hills Gate or at the kopjes (Rocky outcropping) before heading to Central Serengeti area called Soronera. This is one of the richest wildlife habitat in the park endowed with Soronera River  the valuable water source in this area hence attracts a vast number of wildlife around the Serengeti. You will be looking for Great Wildebeest Migration {depending on travelling dates) & the big cats, you can also sport herds of buffalo, giraffe, elephant, warthog, topi, eland, hippos & many more. Late afternoon drive to Seronera Public Campsite for dinner & overnight.

    Day 5.

    Full Day Game Drive in the vast Serengeti plains

    On this day as early as 06:30 with packed breakfast box & lunch box you will go for an early morning game drives in the vast Serengeti plains. Early morning game drive can allow you to spotting cat family on the road as they try to avoid morning mist. You may also expect to see other nocturnal predators coming back from their long night of hunting or a group of lioness organizing morning ambush or eating along the road after, you will break for breakfast somewhere in the bush.

    Serengeti National park is the scene of the Great Wildebeest Migration, so if they will be packed in Serengeti your safari driver guide will have already know so the early start will take you straight to where they are & spend much time with the herds in anticipation of see animal actions like hunting, eating, fighting even killing. You may also expect to spot other predators like leopard, hyena, cheetah & jackals. Herds of buffalo, elephants, giraffe warthog, zebra, many antelopes & birds can also be spotted wondering around Serengeti plains.

    Packed lunch can be served at the picnic site or somewhere in the bush after, lunch & some rest embark on your afternoon game drive & return back to your campsite before or during sunset for dinner & overnight.

    Day 6.

    Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conversation Area

    Distance: 65 km 

    Non – game viewing time: 2 – 3 hrs.

    Early start, if you wish 06:30 am with packed breakfast box, morning game drive, early noon start your way to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with en-route game drive & a visit to the cradle of mankind “Olduvai Gorge”. This is an archaeological site where Dr. Luis Leaky & his wife Mary did some tremendous discovery of the early man that contributed to the theory that the early man lived in Africa.

    On the way you will visit one of the Masai village for some cultural encounter, some Masai worrier will invite you & take you in and around their houses you will meet some kids & other family members, you may ask questions as much as you can. Later they will sing & dance their favorite songs which involves high jumping. If you wish you can join the dancing. Then drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area & to Simba Public Campsite for sunset watch, dinner & overnight

    Day 7.

    Full Day Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Back to Arusha

    On this day as early after breakfast you will descend over 600 meters high walls into the crater floor for a wonderful game drive. Ngorongoro Crater is referred by many as the 8th nature wonder of the world, the crater was formed some 3 million years ago due to some internal forces under the earth crust. It is a Caldera but mistakenly is called a Crater, supported by yearly round water supply & fodder, Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a big number of animal species, which include herds of wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, topi, hippos, eland, warthog, The rare Black Rhinos and Giant African elephant.

    Another big draw card to this unique Crater is the dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs & the ever- mysterious leopard, which sometimes need sharp eye to spot. You will drive to Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline Lake in the southwestern corner, occasionally visited by flamingos, hippos & many aquatic birds. Late afternoon drive out and back to Arusha City & to Ilboru Safari Lodge for dinner & overnight.

    Day 8.

    Orphanage visit & a full Day Tour to Kikuletwa Hot Water Spring

    Distance: 75 km

    Driving Time: About 2 hours

    After breakfast at your lodge drive to Fruitful Orphanage close to Arusha city. Mingle with kids & if you wish to give them some gift you can do so (1 hour). After the visit, with packed lunch start your way to Kikuletwa Hot Water Spring. Enjoy the Great views of Kilimanjaro Mountain then spend much time swimming in warm water & playing around. Late afternoon drive back to Ilboru Safari Lodge for dinner & overnight.
