Maramboi Tented Camp Tanzania is located along the Wildlife Management Areas bordered Tarangire National Park and across the migration corridor that links Tarangire and Lake Manyara NP. Maramboi tented camp Tarangire National Park stands at a very isolated area neighboring Manyara Ranch and Chem chem. The camp has become popular among visitors to Tarangire who prefer privacy and avoid the hustle and bustle of the Northern park areas and of course keep the price a little bit down.

This Tented Camp is placed only 30 min. driving from the Great Northern Highway and less than 20 km from the main gate of Tarangire National Park. Being outside the park at the Wildlife Management area the camp offers various activities that could not be done inside the park. Maramboi and other properties around this area are blessed with a stunning views of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment as well as the Lake Manyara.

Rooms and Layout

Maramboi Tented camp has 40 large tents stands on strong wooden decks, 26 are standard rooms, 10 are suites and 2 are interconnected rooms in separate unit which mostly cater for families with kids. En suite facilities are placed in each room, all room have veranda with views of either Lake Manyara or the Rift Valley Escarpment. Electricity is 24 hours with 220V.

Its great location allows activities like walking safaris, bird watching, night game drives, normal game drives around the area and a visit to Lake Manyara or Tarangire Parks. As the Camp bordered several villages of Maasai & Datoga tribes a cultural tour which allows interaction with this people is possible.
