Arusha National Park is more or less a nature reserve with beautiful landscape and lovely wildlife. The park is among the very few parks which are close to the city, Momella Lakes the feeding site for some flamingos, Ngurudoto Crater, Black and White Colubus are among the major attractions in this Park. Kilimanjaro Mountain and Mount Meru can easily be seen in a very clear days.
Guests will have a chance for nature walks at Ngurudoto Crater, some parts of Arusha National Park appears in Hollywood world famous movie ‘Hatari’ by Hardly Kruger the German actor. 2: Tanzania Day trips to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, we will take you to Lake Manyara National Park, The driving is 2 hours along the nice tarmac road all the way to the Park gate. Lake Manyara is beautiful and ever green, it is located at the base of the Great East African Rift Valley close to a small town of Mto wa Mbu ( mosquito River Town).
Lush vegetation, trees of red mahogany, fig, acacia and others are dwarfing the animals that feeds beneath them. With packed lunch you will have a full day game drive at Lake Manyara National park. 3: Tanzania Day Trips to Tarangire National Park
On this day trip safari which starts & ends in Arusha Tanzania, we take you to Tarangire National Park reputed to contain some of the huge number of elephants in Africa. The driving is along the Great Northern Highways and accross Minjingu junction to the park gate, 2 hours driving from Arusha. After registration and other Park formalities you will start your full day game drive in this Park. Tarangire National Park is the fifth largest park in Tanzania.
Large population of elephant and huge baobab trees are the highlight of this Park & over 6,000 elephant have been recorded here. During the dry season most of the game drives is along Tarangire River the only permanent source of water in the entire Park. 4: Tanzania Day Trip to Ngorongoro Crater Epic wildlife density
For all our Tanzania day Trips & safaris we mostly use 4WD Land cruiser, leave your lodge in Arusha after breakfast at 7.00 & drive for about 3 to 3:30 hours on a nice tarmac road all the way to Ngorongoro gate. After registration and other park formality you will enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) and drive up and around the crater rim, stop at the view point of the Crater floor drive around and descent into the crater floor for a wonderful game drive (Picnic lunch will be served at the crater floor.
Ngorongoro Crater is regarded by many as the 8th wonders of the world. Its crater wall is of about 600 meter and it has a floor about 300 square kilometers, the crater floor has a big number of resident animals with exception of few that migrates in and out of the crater like wildebeest and zebra. Ngorongoro crater is among few areas in the World where black rhino are leaving in their natural habitat. You may expect to spot from hippos, zebra, wildebeest, topi, buffalo, elephant, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyenas and other species.
Bird life is rich in the Crater floor for both aquatic and forest birds, you may spot Egyptian geese, ibises, flamingos, black smith plovers, wavers, herons and other species. With a bit of lucky the Tanzanian Big Five can be spotted in the Crater during a one day of game drives. Drive back to Arusha and arrive at late afternoon.

Mulala village is at the slope of Mount Meru the second highest Mountain in Tanzania stands at the altitude of 4566 m. The village lies between 1600 to 1700 m above the see level hence enjoying the cool weather in the morning & evening.

Driving time is 45 to 1 hour: from Arusha Town
After breakfast at your lodge in Arusha, we will take you to a picturesque Mulala Village at the base of Mount Meru where the famous tribes of Meru people in Swahili know as (Wameru) lives. Here you will get a glimpse of their daily lives. As farmers they growing from coffee, bananas, cassava, beans and keeping dairy cattle.
On arrival you will warmly welcome by Mulala women group known as Agape who started this program with aim of supporting economic activities of their members. Accompanied by a local tour guide you will have a short walk through mama hanna’s coffee farm. After, you will join the Agape women group where you will involve in coffee making from the initial point to a ready made cup of coffee.
The second session you will learn how to balance things in your head which will be accompanied by some nice songs from Meru land. After you will visit the sting less bee keeping project with about 35 beehive & test the fresh honey. Before lunch time you will have a walk through coffee plantation and banana farm all the way to the top point of Lemeka Hills and then you go down to Marisha River home to some lovely birds and charming Monkeys. After you will return back to Mama Hanna’s house for a local simple delicious lunch prepared by village women.
After lunch & some rest you will have a cup of coffee & then visit cheese making factory. IF you wish to buy anything made by Agape women group this will be your chance. Late afternoon drive back to Arusha.

2: Tanzania Day Trips – Cultural Tour to Nkoranga Village
Driving hours 45 min: from Arusha
A tour will start after breakfast at your Hotel in Arusha. Nkoaranga village is at the base of Mount Meru and it is mostly dominated by an indigenous tribe of Meru people.
This area is home to a local fair-trade coffee growers’ cooperative, built up of a group of small-farm coffee growers working hand in hand to build a maintainable, naturally grown, fair trade coffee business. The tour will take you to the coffee plantations where you can see different steps of coffee growing. You will learn on how coffee beans are peaked and collected ready to go through some process before roasted, grounded and carefully packed.
All profits from coffee sales, are to be presented to the local farmers for further investment in the project, and to build their increasing organic farming project. A plan for the next two years is to start with first organic bean harvested. After touring around you will then sit for lunch somewhere in the village before you return to Arusha. If you wish you can take a short walk in the village and a visit to local school or an orphanage.

3: Tanzania Day Trips – 2 Days Cultural Tour to Olpopongi (Masai Village)
Distance: 54 km
Time: About 2: 30 hrs
The tour starts in the morning when we pick you up from your hotel in Arusha. The drving is along the lovely views of slopes of West Kilimanjaro and of a Masai land near Tinga tinga.
On arrival at Olpopongi Masai village, you will have a warm welcome from a pleasant group of Maasai warriors & their Village Chief chilled welcome drink will be served. Guided by a local Masai guide you will walk through the village, the guide will explain their past life & the current life of Masai society in Tanzania. The tradition tea Swahili (Chai) prepared on the wood fire will be served while getting in-depth information about their culinary culture. A simple but very testy lunch of varieties of local food will wind up the morning session of Tanzania Day Trips.
The afternoon begins with an interesting educational walking safari across the nearby bush.
