    Day 1:

    Arrival in Arusha

    On arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport JRO meet our representative & transfer to Mount Meru Hotel close to Arusha city. Later our safari manager will come for detailed safari briefing & after will leave you to enjoy the invitingly lodge’s environment.

    Day 2:

    Arusha – Tarangire National Park

    Distance: 139 km

    Non – game viewing time: 2 – 3 hrs.

    After breakfast leave for Tarangire National Park for game viewing. First you will stop in Arusha town for any last minute purchases before heading to Tarangire. The driving is along The Great Northern Highway & across Masai steppe, shopping centers & many village. Tarangire National Park is named after Tarangire River which starts at Kondoa highlands & passes at the middle of the park hence become a reliable water source in the entire Park. .

    Tarangire River, huge Baobab trees & large elephant population are the highlights of this Park, ,during game viewing  you may expect to spot heads of, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, hippos, baboons, many antelopes & the giant African elephant. For bird watchers Tarangire is the place over 400 bird species have been recorded here which includes the rare species of Ash Staling, Great Kudu & fringed Eared Oryx are also among rare animal species found in the Park.  8 Days Tanzania Lodge Safari

    Day 3:

    Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park- Lake Eyasi

    Distance:  50 km

    Non – game viewing time: 1 hour.

    Driving to Lake Eyasi: 84 km

    After breakfast depart for Lake Manyara National Park via Makuyuni junction, after park formalities start game drive right away. Lake Manyara National Park is placed at the dramatic location & it is endowed with a lot of underground streams which makes it green throughout the year. Located at the base of the Great East African Rift Valley the park has rich overlapping habitats hence supporting a large number of wildlife which include a high concentration of baboons found nowhere else in the world, beautiful flocks of flamingos, hippos, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra & many antelopes. Lake Manyara tree climbing lion is among beautiful features of this park. In the afternoon drive to Lake Eyasi and visit the Datoga tribe & the blacksmith, late afternoon you will go for sunset walk along the lake before driving to Kisima Ngeda Tented Camp for dinner & overnight.

    Day 4:

    Lake Eyasi – Serengeti National Park

    Distance: 132 km

    Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs.

    On this day we take you for an early morning hunting with Bushmen which include tuition on survival skills. Bushman is an indigenous tribe inhabit the area around Lake Eyasi in Northern Tanzania, this tribe is divided into three clans of Hadzabe, Tindiga & Datoga “The black smith”, this tribe have been living harmoniously with nature for many years. Their livelihood depends on hunting with bow and arrows, gathering of eggs, fruits & root tubers pretty much the same as people who lived during the Stone Age.

    Afterward return back to the camp for full breakfast before leaving for Serengeti National park, you will drive along the Great Rift Valley and across beautiful high lying farm lands of Karatu and along the Crater rim of Ngorongoro. You will stop at the view point of the Crater for some nice picture of the crater floor from the rim. On the way you will visit one of the Masai village for some cultural encounter, some Masai worrier will invite you & take you in and around their houses you will meet some kids & other family members, you may ask as much questions as you can. Later they will sing & dance their favorite songs which involves high jumping. If you wish you can join the dancing.

    After, drive down into the heart of the “wild Africa” Serengeti National park with its endless rolling plains. Break for picnic lunch at Naabi Hills Gate or at the Kopjes (Rocky outcropping) when heading to the Central Serengeti area called Seronera. This is one of the richest wildlife habitat in the park endowed with Soronera River  the valuable water supply in this area hence attracts a vast number of wildlife around the Serengeti. Afternoon game drive in search of the Great Wildebeest Migration (this will depend on traveling dates). Late afternoon drive to Embalakai Camp for dinner & overnight.

    Day 5 & 6:

    Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

    Spend 2 precious days in the wild rich Serengeti National Park, on these days of your 7 days Tanzania lodge Safari (if you wish) as early as 06:30 with packed breakfast box & lunch box you will do early morning game drives in the endless rolling plains of Serengeti. Early morning game viewing can allow you to spotting cat family on the road as they try to avoid morning mist. You may also expect to see other nocturnal predators coming back from their long night of hunting or a group of lioness organizing morning ambush or eating along the road after, you will break for breakfast in the bush.

    Serengeti National park is the scene of the Great Wildebeest Migration, so they will be in Serengeti your safari driver guide will have already know so the early start will take you straight to where they are & spend much time with the herds while anticipating see animal actions like eating, fighting even killing. You may also expect to spot other predators like leopard, cheetah, hyenas & jackals. Herds of buffalo, giraffe, elephants, zebra, warthog, & many antelopes can also be spotted wondering around the plains of Serengeti.

    Packed lunch can be served at the picnic site or somewhere in the bush. This is a full day game drive in Serengeti where you will return back to your campsite before or during sunset for dinner & overnight at Embalakai Tented Camp

    Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

    Distance: 135 km

     Non – game viewing time: 2 – 3 hrs.

    On this day after breakfast depart for Ngorongoro Crater, if you wish you can start as early as 06:30 am and do a bit of game drive in Serengeti before leaving for Ngorongoro Crater & descend over 600 meters high walls into the crater floor for a wonderful game drive. Ngorongoro Crater is referred by many as the 8th nature wonder of the world, the crater was formed some 3 million years ago due to some internal forces under the earth crust. Supported by yearly round water supply & fodder, Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a big number of animal species, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, topi, eland, hippos, warthog & giant African elephant.

    Another big draw card to this picturesque caldera is the dense population of predators, which include lion, hyenas, , cheetahs, jackals & the ever- mysterious leopard, which sometimes require binoculars eye to spot. You will drive to Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline Lake in the southwestern corner, occasionally visited by flamingos, hippos & many water birds. Late afternoon drive out & to Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge for dinner & overnight
