Day 1.

Arrival in Arusha

Distance: 50 Km

Driving Time: 1 Hour

On arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport meet our representative & transfer to Gran Melia or Mount Meru Hotel in Arusha. Later our safari manager will come for detailed safari briefing before leaving you to enjoy the invitingly hotels environment.

Day 2.

Fly From Arusha Airport (ARK) to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at your lodge transfer to Arusha airport for your flight to Serengeti National Park. On arrival at Serengeti airstrip meet you safari driver Guide & transfer to Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge in central Serengeti for early lunch & some rest. Then afternoon game drive searching for Great wildebeest Migration & the big cats, you may also expect to spot herds of African elephant, giraffe, buffalo, warthog, hippos and many more. Late afternoon drive to the lodge for dinner, campfire & overnight.

Day 3.

Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

As early as 06:30 with packed breakfast box & lunch box set off for an early morning game drive in the vast Serengeti plains. Early morning game drive can allow you to see cat family on the road as the try to avoid morning mist. Depending on traveling dates you will follow the Great Wildebeest Migration herds & spend much time with them while anticipating to experience animal actions like hunting, eating, fighting even killing. Late afternoon drive back to your lodge for dinner, campfire & overnight.

Day 4.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at your lodge depart for Ngorongoro Crater & descent over 600 meters high wall into the Crater floor for wonderful game drive with possibility of spot the rare black rhino & the big 5. The world nature wonder Ngorongoro Crater was formed some 3 millions years ago due to some eternal forces under the earth crust, a result is a Caldera of about 12 miles with 600 meters high walls. Supported by yearly around water supply and fodder, the crater support larger number of mammals which include herds of African elephant, zebra, buffalo, wildebeest, heartbeest, topi, warthog, hippos, the rare black rhino & many more.

Another draw card in this picturesque crater is its denser population of predators which include lion, hyenas, cheetah, jackals & the ever-illusive leopard which sometimes need sharp eyes to spot. You will visit Lake Magadi a larger but shallow alkaline Lake in the southwest corner frequently visited by hippos, flocks of flamingos & other aquatic birds. Later afternoon drive out & to Lion’s Paws Camp at the Crater rim for dinner, campfire & overnight.

Day 5.

Morning at Leisure or A Guided Nature Walk at Ngorongoro Highlands

On this day after breakfast & depending on your flight time you can have a morning at leisure or a guided nature walk at Ngorongoro highland escorted by an armed ranger. This is 2 or 3 hours walk to the water falls & elephant Cave which is inside Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Alternatively, a game drive at Lake Manyara  or Tarangire National Park

After, drive back to Arusha to catch your flight to Zanzibar from Arusha airport ARK or to Kilimanjaro international airport for your flight back home.

On the way you will have a brief stop at the edge of the Great East African Rift Valley for some excellent views & possibly some pictures of Lake Manyara & its forest.
